CQ Practice Manager
Safa joined CQ Cultural Consulting in 2014 as a Consultant, and in her current role as Enterprise Manager is leading the strategic development and growth of the enterprise to increase its reach and social impact.
Safa has extensive experience and expertise in multicultural affairs and project management in not-for-profit organisations, specialising in issues for migrant and refugee women in Victoria.
Safa has served as Victoria’s Multicultural Youth Commissioner, Chairwoman of the Victorian State Government Social Cohesion and Community Resilience Advisory Group, Advisory Board Member for La Trobe University, and other senior leadership roles.
Safa holds a Bachelor of Arts, a Diploma in Business Management and currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance.
Rana has over 12 years’ experience delivering strategic advice in the humanitarian and development field for UN agencies and international non-government organisations across Europe and Asia. Rana has managed over 48 humanitarian focused projects from planning through to implementation and evaluation across diverse cultural, age and gender settings.
In her most recent role as a Multicultural Policy Advisor in the Office of Senator Di Natale, Rana communicated and negotiated with government authorities and community stakeholders for the provision of the Senate’s Select Committee on Strengthening Multiculturalism.
Rana holds a Master in International Law with a thesis focusing on Afghan Refugee’s predicament in Iran.
Merie is a diversity and inclusion professional with a broad background in managing multidisciplinary programs across research and not-for-profit sectors. Merie has worked at various grassroots organisations and social enterprises in the Netherlands, the Caribbean, the Philippines and Indonesia.
She currently serves as Co-convener of Women’s Melbourne Network and strives to build resilient and inclusive communities by drawing strength from diversity, and the appreciation and celebration of differences.
Merie is passionate about combining insights from cross-cultural psychology and behavioural science to improve decision-making. She holds a Masters in Social Psychology and a Masters in Organisational Ethics from Tilburg University in the Netherlands.
Stefanie is a German-born, Australian-educated communications specialist with a double Master degree in International Communications and International Relations. She has over 7 years’ experience across diverse organisations and consulting roles.
Stefanie’s roles have spanned both the corporate and the not-for-profit sector, across diverse fields including social development, organisational behaviour, investor relations and crisis communications. Stefanie combines facilitation, communication, project management and stakeholder liaison skills with an ability to critically analyse processes and identify areas for innovation.
Stefanie has worked in Asia, South America, Europe and Australia and speaks English, German and Spanish.
