Level Crossing Removal Authority (LXRA) project Alliances
CQ Cultural Consulting is developing online learning solutions for two alliances of multinational construction and engineering firms, including McConnell Dowell, Arup/Mott McDonald, Laing O’Rourke and Fulton Hogan, to support their work as part of the Level Crossing Removal Authority (LXRA) project.
The online learning solutions and resources will be delivered to over 5,000 staff across leadership, middle management, contractor and construction roles. The highly customised modules incorporate relevant, practical case studies to enhance learning. The modules are sequential and designed to gradually build a culturally safe environment for all staff and to promote inclusive workplace practices.
Victoria PoliceCQ Cultural Consulting worked with Victoria Police to develop and deliver a professional development program for Educators at the Victoria Police Academy on culture, community, diversity and human rights. The program was informed by a needs analysis and internal and external consultations, and designed to align to Victoria Police’s goals and objectives. The program reached over 100 Educators, and by using a train-the-trainer approach, built the capacity of Educators to continue to delivering culture and diversity training to students at the Victoria Police Academy.
Teach for Australia
CQ Cultural Consulting partnered with Teach For Australia (TFA) to create and implement an Intercultural Development Training Program to improve the intercultural understanding of TFA Associates. To deliver this project, CQ Cultural Consulting conducted cultural capability benchmarking and designed a curriculum for adult learning and diverse learning styles.
The program was delivered through face-to-face workshops, online learning and experiential learning to reach geographically dispersed Associates. Over 120 TFA Associates completed the program, and TFA was provided with comprehensive resources, knowledge and skills to deliver future programs.
Metropolitan Waste and Resource Recovery Group (MWRRG)CQ Cultural Consulting worked in partnership with the Metropolitan Waste and Resource Recovery Group (MWRRG) to develop a training package on engaging with culturally diverse communities. To develop the training package, CQ Cultural Consulting conducted a comprehensive needs analysis to identify learning objectives.
A four module training package was designed and implemented, reaching over 40 staff and empowering MWRRG and local government staff to continue delivering cultural training in the future.
